Today marks the 3rd anniversary of sportsrant.com. This site has come along way over the past 3 years, reaching heights that never entered my mind. When the first anniversary approached I was weary of reaching just 1,000 members, same for the second, when we approached 5,000. Now one year later, I was worried that we were not going to reach 8,000, but we surpassed that.
Now I know that most of the people here join just to admire the Rant Girls and that there is tons of work to be done. This site is only about improvement, which only comes from the members.
I hope that everyone who is loyal and visitors alike enjoy the new look of the site and that it is working. Now that we are on our own dedicated server, the site is really much faster than it was prior to the move just a month ago.
There are plenty of people that I would like to thank, but I will just personally thank everyone. In the future, I would like to let everyone know that I want to improve the Rant with additions that will make it even more interactive, but I do need ideas. Point/Counterpoint and the new great Americans Radio Show are some of the best new ideas added to the site just in the past few months. We need more! KP and I have been brainstorming a new idea which we will share with you over the next few weeks; something if done correctly will bring tons of new members to the Rant. Only with your help and ideas, can we make this a better place for sports fans on the internet
