!! The CreamPuff League !! - February 10th, 2004

Has is it occurred to you lately or in the past few years that the NFL, Is
becoming the Creampuff league? Here's why the NFL becoming Soft?

1.Endzone celebrations -  If you take out celebrating, you're
taking out the showmanship, feelings, and talents of the players that went
through hell in order to score a touchdown. With that, the players are rewarding
the fans a little show to add the thrill of scoring . Yes maybe they get carried
away but when you achieve something don't we go a little bit far in celebrating
also.

2. Accusing ESPN -  For the show Playmakers of sending the
wrong message about the league, but I was thinking what does that show have to
do with the NFL or maybe when you look deep down inside of it all is the NFL
trying to hide something from us? That's a question we may never ever know. All
I know is that Playmakers was an excellent show and Im going to miss it.

3. The Clarett issue -  If the guy says that he's ready to
play pro ball then he must be ready to play does it really matter what or how
old he is . No it shouldn't if you have the talent to play on a bigger level,
then let him do it. I mean lets take it the NBA for instance, how many years
have they been allowing high school players in the league, for awhile now. Sure
they are complaining now but when you think about it, it looks as though they
are drawing the money because fans are curious about them more then they are
about the regular college players . I mean if there are high school football
players out there that are ready to play on the pro level, then let them play,
does it matter ?

4. Super Bowl Halftime Show - I never thought that a little nipple
showing would cause a big issue . I mean come on now how many times does that
happen in a football game unless one of the cheerleaders has a nip slip, but you
never hear about that . I say that the NFL should learn to live a little, but
things happen that are beyond our control,  so just leave it alone. No fan,
I know,  wants to see a fifteen minute show that just plain old sucks shit,
we need something to keep our energy flowing for the second half, specially
something that will make our pants bulge . Yeah the show was a little bit on the
edge but maybe if the producers of the halftime show did there so called editing
jobs right then that nip slip would not have been the case .

That's why I say that the NFL is looking a little bit creamy lately. My word to
Paul Taligubue: LEARN 2 LIVE A LITTLE BIT.
