You know, I was watching the Charger/Buffalo game yesterday and seeing Drew Brees just pick apart the Buffalo defense. Now, I'm not saying the Bills have a great secondary, but Brees doesn't have the "big" arm of a George, Vick, Bledsoe, Palmer, etc.

Brees also doesn't have the burner WR to stretch a defense. He doesn't have a true #1 WR like Moss or TO or someone like that. He has a great TE and Brees just makes plays.

It got me to thinking about Drew Olson. He's in the same situation at UCLA. He doesn't have a big arm. Young WRs without a true #1. He has a great TE and a great RB that can catch out of the backfield.

Brees plays in a system built for his talents that rely on precise WR route running and QB accuracy along with an excellent TE and RB. Olson could do the same in the NFL. It took Brees three years, it could take Olson three year.

Interesting...
