The thing about Iowa is, it was only recently that either their football team or their basketball team went anywhere. The football team was a perennial loser (kinda like Indiana and Illinois are now) and I don't think the basketball team was much to write home about either. But let me again clarify, I'm not an Iowa fan.
I would say for a team like Iowa, even a Sweet 16 appearance would be excellent for their basketball program.
