I kind of think this whole thing is ridiculous. For one I stand by the right that we have freedom of speech, its not freedom of speech that is politically correct, or freedom of speech as long as it offends no one. If you don't like what a person says don't listen to him. If you are on the Rutgers women's team and feel he is wrong, then sue him for slander. To me if you let the words of some cranky old shock jock ruin your season then maybe you have other issues. But this whole thing brings up a whole different set of problems to me. For one I would consider the words he said as derogatory towards women before I would consider them racist, but thats just me. But no matter what to me its a huge double standard. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson were so quick to jump on Imus for his comments calling him racist and the like. Yet rappers like 50 cent and others call women worse and objectify them in their songs and videos which are aired on both television and radio yet no words of condemnation have come to them. To me its just as "racist" for a black person to say that black people can use certain words and whites can't, than it is for a white person to call a black the n word.

Anyway, thats just my two cents on this whole thing. Figured I'd sound off here because well its the first site I came to.
