Brock Lesnar? Real Impact Yes/No

I have had some trouble following the UFC. Not because I don't think these guys are legitimate fighter and great athletes. I liked it early on when Royce Gracie was a bit younger and was taking down the really big guys. I could relate to that being who I am. Even then though it seemed that the really big guys were not real and true competition. Big, fat slow sumo wrestlers ans such. Guys who really couldn't protect themselves from low kicks and who when they ended up on the floor were doomed.

Things are better now, but the real big guys have yet to step up. A guy like Bob Sapp just doesn't cut it.

So here comes Lesnar, arguably one of the few legitimate wrestlers from McMahons world of make believe. He is real. Probably the only better wrestler in the WWE was Angle, and his body is shot. Lesnar won his fight fairly easily but it was not against the sceduled opponent a huge south korean.

There are questions about his striking ability. That can be taught. There are questions about his ability to take a strike. that is a bit harder to teach. A glass jaw is a glass jaw. There is no doubt that he knows how to take someone down and once there do what is needed.

The questions are as follows:

1. Is he a legitimate figure in MMA?
2. Will he/Can he compete for a title?
3. Will other top athletes step up and follow?
