The Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday acquired defenseman Janne Niskala from the Nashville Predators for forward Triston Grant and a seventh-round pick in the 2009 draft. The 26-year-old Niskala was a fifth-round pick by the Predators in the 2004 draft and had 19 goals and 44 points last year for their American Hockey League affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals.
