as an objective yankee fan, responding to this article brings a chuckle to my face...i think the reason cards or marlins fans don't cry after a regular season walk off hr is simple...they have won the world series in the past 80 years or so...regular season is important, but we don't get emotionally involved in it because the post season is almost inevitable...that's the time to get excited....
and your dreams of one day winning the world series is just a reality us yankee fans are treated to almost every year..to us, when we beat the red sox and crush there dreams for another year...that alones makes our season..the world series is just the topping
