The BCS doesn't care whether Texas gets #6 or #7. If there are 3 major undefeated teams there is a big problem because one team gets screwed out of a national championship chance, which is MUCH bigger than a BCS bid. OU will not end up #2 in the BCS if they lose to CU. USC and Auburn (the only 2 major undeafead teams) would then play for the national championship, and the BCS will say it worked again.
