any sports knowledge?? lacking by that post. OU needed to make sure they put no doubt in the minds of the voters in the AP and Coaches Poll. Auburn looked to be rolling along vs Tenn in the first half. OU made to make a statment and they did. A poor outing could have cost them that #2 spot in the BCS.

I think USC played not to lose vs UCLA and the fact UCLA played probably their best game of the year. It is hard to lose the #1 spot without losing.

Some say had Cal beat USC earlier in the season they would be #1. Nope cause OU would have needed to lose. Could have they moved past Auburn yep.

OU had to dominate CU so there was no doubt period.
