Duke was down by 3 points when they needed to start fouling and give Maryland the free points at the end. There is no way losing to a good Maryland team in a VERY close game (it was close the whole way) is worse than getting blown out from start to finish by Villanova. At home or on the road should not make that big of a difference.

I qualify my position with the fact that losing to Nova wasnt a conference loss, and road losses arent half as costly as home losses in any rating system, Polls, RPI, etc. so, its possible that Duke will have a 5 place drop as well since Nova is a 25 RPI whereas Maryland is a 42...well see Monday
