Wake has the best chance to take BC's spot as a number 1 seed. They were the #1 team in the country in alot of voters minds for awhile and they play as stiff competition as anyone. OK so Wake is currently a #2 seed at 18-3, UK is currently a #2 seed at 16-2
UK has won 12 of its last 13, while Wake has won 3 of its last 5
UKs worst loss was to KU and UNC )not bad
Wakes bad loss was to FSU
UK only has 2 quality wins to Wakes 5, but UK has at least 2 quality opponents upcoming Bama and Miss St. decent ones in Vandy and Florida twice
UK is ranked 4, Wake is ranked 7....
So with all of this, and Wakes only real tests at Duke and home vs GTech
If Wake loses one game in season or doesnt win the ACC tourney, and UK runs the table through the SEC tourney, you are telling me theyd deserve the 4th #1 seed more than UK?
Honestly? anyone else have an opinion on these circumstances.
Now, I think UK has one more bad loss coming, and maybe a loss to Bama. But I think theyll pull it together for the tourney and end up the #2-#2 seed
thats why I had them down for a 3-5 loss season. But if we run the table, No way a 2nd ACC team gets a #seed leaving us in the lurch. UHUH
