Honestly, it's a known fact that KU coaches and players get numerous abusive phone calls from Mizzou fans, but do they whine about it? No. It's Mizzou. It's expected. If they didn't do it, KU people would probably start to worry about them.
What did Redick expect to accomplish by pulling this stunt? It's not like some "Crack Down on Drugs" campaign that America would actually rally around. Those who like him, will still like him. Those who didn't care about him in the first place, still won't care. Those who hate his guts, make signs, and scream obscenities at him will continue to do so. Only now they will have more material and malice than ever. Good thinking Redick, you poetry-writing fairy.
Does anyone else see a problem with the best player on Duke (a team with the most obnoxious fans in college basketball) complaining about other team's fans?
Opinions?

Crash, I pretty much agree with everything you wrote....except for the part about the kids sister. IMO, YOU REALLY SHOULD EDIT THAT! That is over the line on your part.
Fans screaming, booing, etc. at an opposing player is par for the course. The best players can tune them out and concentrate on their job.
Like Rock said, Duke fans aren't above this.
By going on TV all Redick did is exacerbate the problem.
Personally, I don't have any problem trying to get in to a players head, even calling him on the phone I don't have much problem with....screen your calls, change your number, whatever you have to do. But getting personal with family memebers is way over the line and security should be pointed to those people and remove them from the arena.
