I believe you would have to buy it from Japan. Heres the story

Quote:
A Japanese laboratory has built the world's fastest computer, so powerful that it matches the raw processing power of the 20 fastest American computers combined and far outstrips the previous leader, an IBM-built machine.

The achievement, reported at the weekend by an American scientist who tracks the performance of the world's most powerful computers, is evidence that a technology race United States engineers have generally thought they were winning handily is far from over.

The NEC company's breakthrough is also a dramatic statement of contrasting scientific and technology priorities in the US and Japan.

The Japanese machine recreates the entire planet in "an Earth simulator". It was built to analyse climate change, including global warming, as well as weather and earthquake patterns.

The US has predominantly focused its efforts on building powerful computers for simulating weapons. For some US computer scientists, the arrival of the Japanese super-computer evokes the type of alarm raised by the Russian Sputnik satellite in 1957.

"In some sense we have a Computenik on our hands," said Jack Dongarra, a University of Tennessee computer scientist who has for many years maintained an authoritative list of the world's 500 fastest computers.

Thomas Sterling, a leading super-computer designer at the California Institute of Technology, said: "These guys are blowing us out of the water, and we need to sit up and take notice."

The new super-computer, put together at the Earth Simulator Research and Development Centre in Yokohama, uses 5,104 processors that are stored in cabinets covering the space of four tennis courts. When working at full tilt, it can carry out 35.6 trillion mathematical operations a second. The US's fastest machine can carry out only 7trillion operations a second.

The Earth Simulator consists of 640 supercomputers that are connected by a high-speed network (data transfer speed; 12.3 GBytes). Each supercomputer (1 node) contains eight vector processors with a peak performance of 8GFlops and a high-speed memory of 16 GBytes. The total number of processors is 5120 (8 x 640), which translates to a total of approximately 40 TFlops peak performance, and a total main memory of 10 TeraBytes.

35.61 TFlops is achieved from the operation of 638 nodes (5,104 processors) and an efficiency performance percentage of 87.2%.
