I figured David Cook had no shot so I was shocked when he won.
Best Idol fiish ever I would say. Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice was the only other decent final for me.
I never liked George Michael in the past but really liked the song he did last night.

Almost forgot about this, I was shocked as hell too, I liked Cook and wanted him to win but didn't think he had a shot (especailly not a 12 million vote shot) to win.

Glad the outcome was what it was and I actually enjoyed the Finale for the most part.

You are my brother, my best friend forever...haha that guy cracks me up!

Ok as much of a pain in the ass I am to everyone I will admit after watching Cook perform with ZZ Top he deserved it. The little kid was blown off the stage by the One Republic guy.

Backstage word was that producers really wanted Cook to win since Archie's dad is so hard to deal with.

Yeah I agree Jay, I thought that little David was going to blow him out. I like Cook's music and his talent. I think he will have a great career
