If it made it into orbit its going to come back. If it didn't make it into orbit it would have floated off right after we lost control.

Once it is in orbit(anything in orbit for that matter) it is just a matter of time before it runs out of fuel. The orbit will then degrade until it falls back to earth.

Cool, thanks for my science lesson today. Maybe it was too far away before for us to hit it? Can missile successfully go into orbit and blow something up?

If its strong enough it will. If we can send shuttles into space I think we can manage something smaller with some explosives in it.

how do you think the nukes would be launched...they don't go up to 10k feet and level off...they go up into the upper stratoshere(beginnings of space)

I am with Jay on this. I would rather they shoot it down then have it land in my back yard. It would be okay with me if they chose not to shoot it down and it landed right next to Jay, causing him to shit his pants

Technology fails at least they are doing something rather than nothing. Usually things coming back to earth from orbit burn up in the atmosphere upon reentry...not this...besides there is highly classified technology that could be gained by anyone who found whatever survived reentry blowing it up is a good idea for a number of reasons.
