I remember landing in a rainy weather once and you could feel the plane a little off from center landing on the runway and sliding a little bit when initially trying to slow down.I don't know if it was wind or hydroplaning or what.Very minor,but a little scary. So,I have to know those people had to be thinking it was the end of ther road for them.

we've been flying now for about 100 years...can we not come up with a way to land a plane on wet ground and not skid or hydroplane?

You would think they would be able to just take off and land verticaly like helicopters.
The British made Harrier fighter jet does it.

I'm dying for them to invent cars that can fly. And I hope they aren't much more expensive than normal cars.

Imagine how clear the roads would be for me!
