Jay I agree that it is probably not real evidence but it is not about the stuff that this guy saved. It's about Clemens. People do things all the time to save their asses and will deny and save things to help them prove things.
So you are saying that Clemens is innocent right? What makes him different? Just because nothing has been proved? Please explain to me what makes him different than Mark M and others? Why would Mcnamee lie, what does he half to loose at this point? |

I've NEVER said he's innocent. I'm saying no one has any real clue other than Clemens and McNamee. Obviously people can choose to believe whatever they want. But your belief (either guilty or innocent) is based on nothing but "he said vs. he said".
And you do know that people also deny stuff when whats said about them is not ture. |

Some tough talk on sportcenter today from Clemens attorney about reporters that are going to be embarrassed when the truth comes out. Should be interesting how this all plays out next week with them in front of congress. I'll try to restrain my personal opinion for the most part until then, but agree a bit with Mike in that others have been deemed cheaters with less evidence apparent.

not entirely sure if he experienced the hat size increase deemed semi-important to proving the allegations in the case of mcguire and bonds, but he did gain a ton of muscle over his career
 that was then, this is now   |

comparing pics of a 20 year old clemens to a 45 year old clemens doesn't justify anything...everyone gets fatter first off...plus coming into the league most guys don't know how to properly get in shape or gain muscle...
i'm not saying clemens is innocent or guilty...but why would a guy keep that stuff?? thats more creepy than clemens doing steroids...and its clearly not admissable...to much tampering could of happened between then and now |

Yea, I don't think we can compare pictures with huge amounts of time between.
The only way a picture in my mind proves 'roid use, is a year different pic with huge differences. |

I'll agree that the head growth is not as outstanding as that of mr. Bonds. and it is almost impossible to determine much from the pictures as ol Roger did get a bit more plump and not just jacked throughout his career.

The difference between Clemens and Bonds is simple; Barry admitted that he used the cream, albeit unknowingly.
The difference between Clemens and McGwire is also simple; Mac had andro in his locker(legal at the time) and refused the opportunity to either defend himself or come clean. Roger has been caught with nothing yet and is standing up and fighting like a man. Whether or not that is an honest man remains to be seen. |

all mcgwire had to say at the time was i used andro and it was legal in mlb....but he has the right to plead the 5th...that mighta cost him the hof though
