40 bucks....lots of sports games are cheaper now cause of the competition....well for regular xbox that is....i can't quite afford the 360 yet

I finally picked this up last weekend. I really like it. The early guys are still easy as hell, but i'm noticing the later guys are getting pretty tough. Im using a welterweight and every fight ends by KO before the 5th round. Thats a little dumb... and no matter how high people's cut rating is, I always seem to open a river of blood by their eye within two or three rounds. 147 pounders don't do that in real life.
I haven't finished a full career yet, but just got my first PPV fight. I had to go 30-0 with 30KO's just to get a title fight. Overall its a good game with some flaws.

did you get attacked at your press conference yet....marvin hagler was tough as hell...i like that the earlier fights end quick...i don't wanna go 6,8,or 10 rounds each fight early on

I did get attacked twice at the press conferences. Is it possible to knock the other dude down when that happens? Both times the dude floored my ass. I didn't get a chance to play this weekend, so with nothing really on to watch tonight i'll get a few more fights in. Sometimes i'm happy the fights end earlier, but i'd also like alittle more realism. No welterweights win their first 32 fights by KO.

Well I finally lost my first fight! I haven't been playing that much, but I was 41-0 (41KO's) and I got floored 3 times and finally stayed down in the 7th round. I must say, that was the happiest i have ever been when i lost. It shows the game did get a little bit harder. I just have to train my guys so they aren't very high in power.

who beat you...i lost to sugar ray in the 3rd match we had...he got alot quicker and stronger than the first 2 times i fought him

It was some "Salah" guy or something like that. I started at welter and it was my first fight stepping up to middleweight. The dude was just too strong for my guy in his first fight at that weight. But i then KO'd 3 straight middle's after i trained a bunch on weight lifting.
