You watch these yet Sig? I didn't watch them live on Saturday... i decided to go with the boxing on HBO. But i did watch the Hughes/Gracie and Swick/Riggs fights so far on YouTube (below). I'm still looking for an active link to my boy Diego's fight...

i watched them live on saturday....poker and ufc...not a bad combo....my boy swick finished riggs real quick...when's his title shot??? i'm sure if i look back in this thread...i said hughes would win...and i was right....did i think he'd dominate the fight as bad as he did...no....but hughes is just nasty and gracie hasn't fought anyone near his talent in a long long time

the diego fight blew monkey ass.....worst fight of the nite...by far....wait till you see it...waste of time...2 great knockouts on the undercard...find the melvin guillard fight....think it was against rick davis...made his 1 and only appearance in the ufc...best punch knockout...the other was spencer fisher vs. matt wiman...his moniker was handsome matt wiman..i'm so glad he got knocked out...it was his debut and he caught a flying knee to the head..spectaculart

side note..i did a pick em on ufc.com and i picked every winner correctly...but i didn't pick the correct times or ways the fights would end...i did get the hughes one right though...but i got the wrong round...i said round 2

Kyle F. Lewis is on a distinguished road

I disagree, if you enjoy the technical aspects of fighting, then it was awesome. Any young fighter who wants to learn takedown defense should watch that fight over and over. I was really impressed with Alessio's technical skills on the mat and his jabbing. In my opinion he should have won the fight.

I think the worst fight of the night by far was Gonzaga and Scherner. Scherner wanted to do everything in the world except come out for the second round. I was embarrassed for him.

I have yet to see the Sanchez fight, but from what i read it didn't seem to be all that exciting. A defensive battle like Kyle said. Which are usually painful to watch. I have also heard that Diego probably shouldn't have won, but i'm happy he got the decision.

I did see the Guillard/Davis fight though... CHRIST, what a right hand by Melvin. He's going to be dangerous down at lightweight. I really think you are going to see that division start to fill up with better fighters now that some have "broken the seal" and moved down there.
