yeah i agree with ssigman, its gonna be a mismatch! Silva is a lot better fighter than kongo. But Cheick Kongo Vs. Carmelo Marrero?Definitely Kongo here.

Congo's been busy. It looks like he's been fighting pretty often. He's still only fighting bunch of no names but he should get a shot against some bigger name guys soon. Maybe, against the loser of Frank Mir vs. Brandon Vera.

if frank mir fights like he did the last time in the octogan..its gonna be him...he looked awful compared to how he looked before the injury

Geezus... anyone watch this last night? I didn't get to see it but how the hell did Franklin lose in the 1st round. He's the one champ i crowned as "unbeatable" at this point. Wow.

yea i read about it cause i wasn't paying to see these fights but what a shock..not that silva beat franklin but the way he did it and how fast he did it....wonder if franklin was overconfident or not completely in shape after having the broken hand...

other results: sherk over florian

kalib starnes loses to the japanese guy
spencer fisher wins over dan lauzon
carmelo marrero wins over cheick kongo in a surprise

thats all i remember

Florian is a local guy(Dorchester). I've seen him at a couple of demos at a local Dojo(Dragon Within). Seems OK. I rooted for him because of the local connection. He looked tough and did well but wasn't ready for a guy as strong as Sherk. He will do better later on.

i never liked florian...nothing against him...i just find myself rooting against him when he fights....but he's legit at 155....

Just a local interest on my part. UFC hasn't been able to hold my attentio long term. To much submission stuff. You guys however are getting me a little more interested.

Its posted on youtube. Franklin kept getting kneed in the face.
