He's close, and getting there. But he doesn't have the quality wins like the guys I have in my top 15 at this point. His win this weekend was very impressive and shocking actually. That Robin Reid guy he TKO'd in the 7th round had NEVER been knocked down in any fight, and Lacy knocked him down 4 times.

His next fight is Nov. 5th vs. Joe Calzaghe who is 39-0 with 31 KO's. If he beats him, I will probably move him up into the "just out" section.

HUGE NEWS!!!!

My #1 - Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be fighting my #8 - Zab Judah for the undisputed Welterweight title November 11th.

This is one of the biggest fights the boxing world has seen in years. Floyd will be again stepping up in weight to fight the worlds top ranked 147 pounder. Zab currently holds all three major belts in the welterweight division after beating Cory Spinks.

Will the extra weight be too much for Floyd? (He only has had 3 fights at 140, and fought at 130, and 135 before this). In my opinion no. Zab is good, no question, but he is overrated IMO. Floyd will easily out box and out point Zab for most of the fight, and then win by TKO late in the fight.

What do you mean? I hate watching boxing.

Same thing with money. I love to have money, but life sucks because I never have any of it.

But if I can bet good money on this fight, I could be right and have money all in one night... hmmmmm.

**UPDATE 9/12/2005**

Big upset this weekend as my #5 fighter Eric Morales lost to Zahir Raheem by unanimous decision over the weekend. (BUT I won my bet on him getting 7/1 odds!!) So he falls out of the top 10 and Raheem moves into the "just out list". Manny Pacquiao was also on the same card and KO'd Velazquez in the 6th. Also, as of right now, the Mayweather vs. Judah is off.

1. Floyd Mayweather Jr - Fights TBD
2. Marco A. Barrera - fights Robbie Peden 9/17
3. Winky Wright - Fights 12/10 vs. TBA
4. Bernard Hopkins - fights Jermain Taylor 12/03
5. Manny Pacquiao - beat Hector Velazquez 9/10
6. Juan M. Marquez - beat Victor Polo 5/7
7. Zab Judah - Fights TBD
8. Diego Corrales - fights Jose Luis Castillo 10/8
9. Jermain Taylor - fights Bernard Hopkins 12/03
10. Ricky Hatton - fights Carlos Maussa 11/26

Just out - Antonio Margarito, Antonio Tarver, James Toney, Oscar Larios, Zahir Raheem, Kostya Tszyu, Eric Morales, Jeff Lacy

**UPDATE 10/04/2005**

Not much action since last month for my P-4-P guys. M. Barrera did beat Robbie Peden in a landslide easy decision. Antonio tarver beat Roy Jones, but that just doesn't mean the same as it did last year, huh? Can't move him in because of that. James Toney beat a 40th ranked Dominick Guinn, not much help to him.

The big fight is this weekend with my #8 ranked Corrales in his much anticipated rematch vs. Jose Luis Castillo. Corrales KO'd Castillo in incredible fashion in their last fight in May. Castillo knocked Corrales down 2 times in the 10th round. But Corrales came back and knocked Castillo out in the very same round. That fight will hands down win the "Ring Magazine Fight of the Year" award.

1. Floyd Mayweather Jr - Fights Sharmba Mitchell 11/19
2. Marco A. Barrera - Beat Robbie Peden 9/17
3. Winky Wright - Fights 12/10 vs. TBA
4. Bernard Hopkins - Fights Jermain Taylor 12/03
5. Manny Pacquiao - Fights Erik Morrales 1/21
6. Juan M. Marquez - Beat Victor Polo 5/7
7. Zab Judah - Fights TBD
8. Diego Corrales - Fights Jose Luis Castillo 10/8
9. Jermain Taylor - Fights Bernard Hopkins 12/03
10. Ricky Hatton - Fights Carlos Maussa 11/26

Just out - Antonio Margarito, Antonio Tarver, James Toney, Oscar Larios, Zahir Raheem, Kostya Tszyu, Erik Morales, Jeff Lacy, Jose Luis Castillo
