**UPDATE 10/11/2005**

Well no fight of the year in the rematch between Diego Corrales and Jose L. Castillo. This time Castillo crushed Corrales and KO'd him in the 4th round. Talk about shaking up my rankings and not knowing what to do. I'm keeping Corrales ahead of Castillo for the moment. They are 1 and 1 against each other and Corrales has been better vs. other fighters.

Also, Mayweather Jr. has scheduled his next fight in November vs. a very underrated Sharmba Mitchell. IMO, Floyd will win, but it should be an exciting fight to watch. It doesn't appear to be a Pay-Per-View so it is definitly worth checking out the best boxer in the world right now. Also on the undercard will be the undefeated 2004 Olympic gold medalist Andre Ward.

1. Floyd Mayweather Jr - Fights Sharmba Mitchell 11/19
2. Marco A. Barrera - Beat Robbie Peden 9/17
3. Winky Wright - Fights Sam Soliman 12/10
4. Bernard Hopkins - Fights Jermain Taylor 12/03
5. Manny Pacquiao - Fights Erik Morrales 1/21
6. Juan M. Marquez - Beat Victor Polo 5/7
7. Zab Judah - Fights TBD
8. Jermain Taylor - Fights Bernard Hopkins 12/03
9. Ricky Hatton - Fights Carlos Maussa 11/26
10. Diego Corrales - Lost to Jose Luis Castillo 10/8

Just out - Antonio Margarito, Antonio Tarver, James Toney, Oscar Larios, Zahir Raheem, Kostya Tszyu, Erik Morales, Jeff Lacy, Jose Luis Castillo

even with the knockout loss, your keeping him ahead of castillo....did the weight issue have any factor into your thoughts???

Remember Corrales did KO Castillo in their first fight. And that was the first time Castillo has ever been KO'd in his career (around 60 fights). Castillo was HUGE going into this fight. What a joke. Castillo's trainer got caught standing behind the scale with his foot under it trying to make him look lighter. There is talk that castillo came into the fight weighing 150 lbs (for a 135 fight??). I think that has to have an affect on my rankings. And if there is a 3rd fight, that will determine alittle more.

**UPDATE 11/21/2005**

Not much to update. My #1 Floyd Mayweather won an easy 6th Rnd KO over Sharmba Mitchell this past Saturday night. Excellent body shot by Floyd keeps him undefeated. This weekend my #9 fighter Hatton will fight Carlos Maussa. This should be a one sided ass kicking by Hatton. Also, in 2 weeks we have the much anticipated rematch between Hopkins and Taylor. A week later we have Winky Wright vs. Sam Soliman, Winky crushes him. Also, Juan Marquez vs. undefeated Chris John... which should be an excellent fight.

1. Floyd Mayweather Jr - Beat Sharmba Mitchell 11/19
2. Marco A. Barrera - Fights Jesus Chavez 3/25
3. Winky Wright - Fights Sam Soliman 12/10
4. Bernard Hopkins - Fights Jermain Taylor 12/03
5. Manny Pacquiao - Fights Erik Morrales 1/21
6. Juan M. Marquez - Fights Chris John (36-0) 12/9
7. Zab Judah - Fights Carlos Baldomir 1/07
8. Jermain Taylor - Fights Bernard Hopkins 12/03
9. Ricky Hatton - Fights Carlos Maussa 11/26
10. Diego Corrales - Lost to Jose Luis Castillo 10/8

Just out - Antonio Margarito, Antonio Tarver, James Toney, Oscar Larios, Zahir Raheem, Kostya Tszyu, Erik Morales, Jeff Lacy, Jose Luis Castillo

Well Saturday, Jermaine Taylor again beat Bernard Hopkins, so that will shake my rankings up (but I have no idea how yet). What do I do, Hopkins lost 2 very close fights to one guy... do I move him completely out? Hmmm... i have some thinking to do.

Also, Ricky Hatton destroyed Carlos Maussa and now owns 2 of the three major belts in the 140 lb weight class.

**UPDATE 01/09/2006**

Well I have not updated this in a while, but this past weekend gives me great reason too. I am finally able to brag about saying Zab Judah is over rated and get him the hell out of my top 10. Judah lost an unanimous decision to Carlos Baldomir this weekend. Its sad because now we will not have the super fight of Judah vs. Mayweather.

I'm also removing Hopkins from the list after his back to back losses to Taylor. Hopkins said he was retiring, but now has a fight vs. Roy Jones Jr. in March before he retires. This fight would not move him up anyway. In other fights, Winky wins again, and hatton destroyed Maussa.

1. Floyd Mayweather Jr - Beat Sharmba Mitchell 11/19
2. Marco A. Barrera - Fights Jesus Chavez 3/25
3. Winky Wright - Beat Sam Soliman 12/10
4. Manny Pacquiao - Fights Erik Morrales 1/21
5. Juan M. Marquez - Fights Chris John (36-0) Feb or March
6. Jermain Taylor - Beat Bernard Hopkins 12/03
7. Ricky Hatton - Fights Carlos Maussa 11/26
8. Jeff Lacy - Fights Joe Calzaghe (40-0) 3/04
9. Jose Luis Castillo - Fights Diego Corrales 2/04
10. Diego Corrales - Lost to Jose Luis Castillo 10/8

Just out - Antonio Margarito, Antonio Tarver, James Toney, Oscar Larios, Zahir Raheem, Kostya Tszyu, Erik Morales

Morales is done as a contender. He really can't even be competitive in major fights vs. tough opponents anymore. First Raheem blows him out and now Manny destroys him. It was a nice career for "El Terrible"

And Morales still isn't even 30 years old yet! Thats crazy. Morales has 52 fights in his career BEFORE his 30th birthday. I guess he can retire rich and young... who wouldn't be okay with that?
