okay I'll try and be objective since I myself don't like the sport.

The big problem is that it doesn't translate well on television. We as a nation are addicted to the TV. From what I understand hockey is an absolute blast when seeing it in person. But by seing it on TV...you would never think so. When I talk to sports fans that don't really follow Hockey and ask them what they think.....9 times out of 10 they say, "its cool because they can fight." whooptee-do. The NHL needs better marketing. Out here in PHX we just built a brand new state of the art arena for our team. I think they have only sold out twice. If that. I figured that it would be a nice draw since most people flock to a new arena...and thought the buzz over the goalie and his consecutive shut outs would bring fans in...NOPE. Something has to be done from a marketing standpoint. Make it fun to watch on TV...then people will get excited enough to see it live. Then they will experiance this great experiance that live hockey is supposed to be.

Well thats my 2 cents. I will prob be blasted by the hockey guys....but like I said, I'm a hockey outsider....i just think its a shame to see any sport die out....

Mr. Logic is an unknown quantity at this point
I love hockey. It's a great sport. Of course, it appeals more to people who live where the ponds freeze over. Just like there are more NASCAR fans in towns with a high incidence of inbred, wife-beating, cousin-loving yokels.

But, you can't deny that hockey is #4 among the sports. Check out your local newspaper. Most nights, the pro hockey games have higher attendance than the pro basketball games. That just shows there are more PASSIONATE hockey fans than basketball fans. But, I acknowledge there are a lot more casual basketball fans. Too bad. Hockey is a beautiful sport, with a worldwide audience of hard core fans.

but its true....though i would venture to say that nascar is close to beating out hockey as a dominate sport....you see how many people show up to see people drive hundreds of miles in a circle? Its a good thing that there is beer and hot chicks at those things because otherwise it would be a lost cause

Ishkur is my hero

Ishkur is my hero because i'm a 11 year old boy and he let me sleep in his bed with him and touch his little snake, well it was more like a worm but thats ok. he offered me playstation 2 and cookies in exchange for lude pictures of myself. The best part abotu Ishkur is he has the tremendous abality to jerk off to sesame street and cum on the rug. After he does so he licks the com off the rug and fingers his ass and pickes his nose with it. after all is said and done he likes to goto church and shake hands with everyone even though he didn't wash his. Sometimes he makes me laugh when he wacks off with his little willy because he has to use tweasers. Ishkur loves giving me body massages and compliments me on my bum. Once he orderd me to shit on his chest and pee on it. Then another time he told me to scream at his ass really loud. It was scarry, he even showed me the leather man with the red thingy in his mouth that lives in the box. Ishkur told me that he likes to wear white hoods and go out and kill people that have differant coloured skin than him. I love Ishkur, he is the best. I want to be just like him and one day i'll be a catholic preist so i can talk to lots of little boys. I love you Ishkur, PS Call me before 3 when my mommy gets home, and i do have lots of pictures of my feet. G'night you nasty little man.

Even worse news than more people watching Nascar over Hockey.. Is that the most watched televised sport is.. Figure Skating.. YIKES.. Could be that its rarely on so the guys have to give up the remote control for a few hrs a year to appease their ladies Don't mind me..I am off to go hunting for that bastard that invented valentines day
