I think the NFL has steaks cooking on a grill for the refs that make the calls they want,
then some beanie weanies in a pot for the refs that don't.
Nothing said,no memos, just that wonderful steak on a grill smell.

Excuse my ignorance again dear Rusty, but, what are beanie weanies in a pot? Or was that in another memo that I didn't get?

Thanks Rusty, seems like a pretty volatile mixture.

Ishkur, man, I wish you would write more. It was interesting and entertaining, although I can't say I completely buy it. Still though, the officiating has been awful in the playoffs, Roethlisburger definitely didnt score, that offensive pass interference is the equivalent of calling a hand check in the final play of the national championship game in college basketball (meaning, it should NEVER be called, that was flat-out ridiculous), and the Steelers definitely had a few offsides calls that just weren't called. Seattle was one of the least penalized teams in the NFL this season, it does make you scratch your head. Of course, so does Stevens dropping four passes and Seattle biting on the Randle El pass hardcore. Even with the memo, Seattle still has more of the blame here than the officials, because they still had plenty of chances to win this game.

Ugh obviously it is more a matter of opinion based what was seen during the game for most all of these arguements...each and every one of us is entitled to that.
