That's George"s problem not Joe's. I don't think Torre is still managing because he has to, I thinks it's because he wants to. Steinbrenner is not the same man he was 5-10 years ago. He seems to have mellowed with age.

It seems to me that it's Cashman whose butt is on the line here. He has built an offensive juggernaught and gambled that his pitching would at least be adequate. So far it has not worked out.........but of course it is only April.
