Well, the people of Sri Lanka HAVE been mortal enemies of the US for some time now.

no i'm a complete ass....but my "generalizations" are open beyond just the tsunami...you have third world nations like india who have mostly dirt roads, animals running free on the city streets, they can't afford to feed there people, the people don't have enough money for shoes yet they can afford to have nuclear weapons to defend themselves. i don't know if you've watched any of the news programs but one on cbs about a week ago showed india and how they were takin rice out of a pot with there hands...placing it on a large leaf and giving to people who then ate it with there bare hands....and this was BEFORE the tsunami....2/3 of the world is against american policies and forced upon ways....if you know your history you'll know that as a growing country we stayed out of other people's business and mainly just worried in house.....manifest destiny has caused our country to be the most hated but yet they rely on our money...these people grow up hating america yet we are the biggest supporters money wise.....we get hurricanes, tornadoes and a bunch of other natural disasters here in america....they get 1...tsunami's...and they happen...i don't feel remorse...i'd rather spend my money on the troops we have overseas than to give it to them

do you read?? watch t.v.??? these people are robbing the corpses of there jewelry and holding them for ransom....literally cutting off fingers and ears.....throwing bodies in mass graves before the relief people can do anything to identify them....they are backwards people....and they know nothing about us yet they learn to hate us....why do we have embassy bombings in africa and why do we hear every day a marine is killed in iraq...stop following american propaganda and look at the whole picture

No one disagrees with that at all and you freakin know it! Problem is we had a tough time finding the funding to help the victims of this disaster because it's all being funneled into Iraq. We won't get into that war it's a never ending arguement!

I'd rather see our troops here at home, Saddam dead and the money in Iraq being used here within out borders helping our pathetic economy.

American propaganda...just shut the fuck up. I have my own mind and my own opinions. They aren't americans and don't enjoy the luxuries. Do you have any fucking clue what it is like in some of these other poor countries?? Just because they don't act like us doesn't mean shit. We are civilized rich fat lazy americans. They get their hatred of us from their own countries propaganda! It is human nature to hate the best, richest, and most well off of people!

Second - They do hate us because we are wasteful. We throw enough food away daily to probably feed the lot of them, and it isn't their fault that their collective governments keep them in poverty.
