As expected, nobody anywhere is flipping their shit about the #1 team almost going down at home to an inferior team. East coast bias!

Maybe... but i think it is more on the lines of TEAMS DON'T GO UNDEFEATED! All teams lose, and Illinois will also. The reason there isn't "flipping of shit" is because they had a close game with a top 25 team. Good teams find ways to win when 1 or 2 of your top players aren't having a good game. Which is what they did last night.

All I know is on ESPN.com the headline for the KU/NU game story was "Rock, Shock, Jayhawk" and the headline for the Illinois/Iowa game story was "Perfect Ending". I'm not sure what the difference was between the games. Both are top teams that barely won against average teams at home (Iowa may be Top 25, but let's face it, they're not above losing to a team like Nebraska).

Well that I agree with... maybe i was just explaining why I wouldn't jump on Illinois, but then again i wouldn't jump on KU either. Especially since they didn't even have Simein vs. Kentucky. However, i'm not quite sure how Illinois falls under the "East Coast Bias" conspiracy? There is nothing east coast about Illinois. If it wasn't for Missouri, Kansas and Illinois would be neighbors.

this year, and lately, noone is above losing to anyone, but, I will say that Iowa is recognizably better than nebraska,,,, Iowa 24 RPI, Nebraska 54 RPI as an example. Besides, The Illinois game was such a big win because of Deron Williams being out of the game. my opinion anyway.....BTW, Im watching a certain team down 83-59 with 1 minute left, maybe need to ressurect that Rock, Shock, Jayhawk headline huh?

and as far as comparing Wake to Illinois, Wake leads Ciny by 1 at half, and havent pulled away. Illinois was up by 12-15 the whole game vs Cincy. Wake=inconsistent shakey weak Defense, much like the rest of the ACC.

side note UK....#6 Defense in the nation...not one ACC team in the top 25, and #13 in the nation in scoring margin, (to counteract the UK has no offense notion Crash would undoubtedly use)

Good game tonight @ 7pm (est) on ESPN. #1 Illinois vs. #18 Wisconsin. Wisconsin has won 38 straight games at home and Illinios has won its first 19 of this year.

Its hard to figure the Badgers out. They have big wins over Alabama and Michigan St. but bad losses to Pepperdine and Indiana (both by double didgets). This should be a pretty good game depending on which Wisconsin team shows up.

Wisconsin had the right Idea, stay with em to the end, then execute....but they forgot step 2, only MSU or Iowa can get em now, barring any wierdness

My god, what a way to put it away last night for Illinois. Tie game with around 2 minutes to go... a minute and twenty seconds later they were up by 8 points. Excellent job by them to break the streak of the Badgers and get to 20-0 on the season.

Will they run the table? Probably not because it is VERY hard to do. Could they? Definitly, they have the depth, talent and desire to do it.
