Eat a Dick daddy, sorry work got in the way of posting, I've watched every minute, wish this series would have started even up but what can we do.

I don't feel like this team is or Marty is playing at the level that got them here, as much as they say it isn't, I'm sure losing Kimmo the night before game 1 and then Coburn in the 2 minutes of game 2 is affecting overall play and game plan.

I think a main difference between the Montreal series and this series is that the Canadians didn't seem to be able to finish with the couple guys that usually could, whereas the Pens have more guys that can finish and are doing just that.

I can't wait for tonight, I hope to see some serious blood.

To me, the reason we are down 2-0 in this series... We just aren't as good of a team as the Pens without Kimmo, and especially without him and Coburn. Sure, they have the ability to play better at certain times, or certain games. But line-ups, top to bottom, is really in favor of the Pens right now. We need to play above our ability to get through this. The Pens don't.

See I think the reality is that even with Kimmo, this team isn't quite as good as the Pens, they have a ton of offensive power and have played pretty good D as well, so without Kimmo and Coburn, its just that much harder. I haven't seen the intensity from Marty of this team that I saw a lot more of in the previous 2 series, what exactly the cause of that is is hard to say, but i think its a combo of a lot of things.

You could be right, its just really damn close when both teams are healthy. Especially if we had Gagne over Prospal.

They may not want to admit it, but i bet the team, and mostly Biron was shaken by the loss of Kimmo. (No, this is not excuse making Daddy) Kimmo was the rock on defense and they knew they could count on him to make up for others mistakes and be where he should be. Plus move the puck out of the zone and QB their power play. Marty probably feels more pressure, or feels like he has to do more without his top D-man in front of him.

I don't know, just guessing. I will never say this team isn't giving 100%, because they obviously are. It just feels like something is missing.

A loss like Kimmo on short notice would shake up any weak team.
