KP,

Your comments on the judging are spot-on. The problem I have w/a word count is putting any restraints on creativity. I think you will see that the beauty of these competitions are that they are unstructured which will lead to even better pieces of work.

Easy answer...Angels, UCLA, Chargers, Mavericks, Stars

any player playing professionaly on any team that went to UCLA...including Freddie Mitchell!

Okay...go ahead and let me have it...I can take it like a man...just not a man that's in prison!

Cool with me....whatever is best. I'll bet no one writes a three sentence first round arguement from here on out!

At this rate, the Marlins might not even make the playoffs, let alone win the WS

lol, i'm going to hear about this all year huh? They are only 1 1/2 out of first now, and the last time I checked records in the first week of June don't count at the end of the summer.

Plus, they have a better team than the White Sox.

Uh huh. You will hear about it when the White Sox make it farther than the Marlins, who won't make the playoffs!

At least answer me this, they are like 2 or 3 games over .500, yet still top 5 in the big stat categories. If this team is playing their best ball of the year, why are they treading water above .500?

I am now officially going to follow baseball just so I can see how this little "purse-swinger" ends.

Bullpen problems. They have been blowing far too many games. As I said in my article, Mota and Alfonseca are coming back, which will help stop that greatly. I realize Mota has been bad in the last week, but he needs some time to get back "into the flow" since his injury.

No question they have been struggling as of late, but that is an abberation, not the norm.
