Thank, Nick and Pointman. Yes, Montana was a safe choice, but I do think there's nobody better. I was expecting someone to say John Elway, too. That being said, however, one of my favorite QB's is Brett Favre. Hated him when he shoved the ball down the 49ers throats, but you can't help but admire the way he plays the game. As a football fan, I love watching the guy play. He takes hits, he hits others, he's a bit crazy. He's not just a quarterback, he's a football player.

Totally agree. He doesn't have the stats to be argued as the best ever (yet), but damn is he fun to watch. I hated it when he was the opponent on Sunday, because that arrogant little bastard always finds a way to win.

I just got back into town and saw that my article has been posted. I really do appreciate the constructive responses and graciously admit that I lost. Joe Montana was a fine QB, and he does have huge stats bigger than Starr. However I still dont believe that he is the best ever. I have only one small "Point" to make, and I'll let the dog sleep.

Bart Starr was winning Superbowls before there even was a Superbowl.
The Superbowl was not even in conception when he was winning the League Championship, which was the end all be all before the game we all know was created. So if we are going all time, Starrs wins still trump Montanas in the BIG GAME be it by the title we know it by or not.

**By the way My last name is Murphy.. Murphys Law.. You figure it out..*

Im right your wrong and that is still

Murphy, I figured that was your last name, I was just desperately digging for a hook.

You did great, as did everyone in the competition. Starr took serious Huevos to pick in this topic, you just got a little out-debated is all. Don't take the loss as a bad thing, just take it as a learning experience, and keep writing man!!!
