I was just talking garbage too man, if your ChiSox win it all it will be a great prediction that early in the season. Not too many other "experts" were that big on the Sox.

Okay. I'm in. I'm only doing this for Mike though. I don't foster any illusions about what my chances are, but that doesn't mean I'll throw the contest either. I'll try my hardest, but I know I'll lose for two reasons:

1) Being Canadian, I don't actually know a hell of a lot about American collegiate activities, so any question about Heismann trophies or Conferences is going to get a blank stare from me, and will take days for me to get my answer in (due to exhausting amounts of heavy research). In fact, I don't really know a lot about NFL, NBA or MLB either. But stick a CFL or curling question on there and I will fucking OWN. Also

2) You people hate me. This is a judged contest, so it doesn't really matter what I have to say or how airtight and indefensible my argument is, I'm still going to lose. With you people in charge, I'd lose against four blindfolded monkies jumping on typewriters while firing rocket launchers, just to spite me.

But other than that, I'm game. Let the whipping begin.

Interesting Ishkur, but I don't hate you. I myself feel pretty much the same for my chances. Any Collegiate question will also issue forth the same blank stare from my end. Also the NBA, I can't be arsed to follow that sport, so blank stare number 2. I may be in with a shout with the NFL or MLB. The CFL, hmmmm don't know nuthin aboot that neither. Curling, it was fun to try and play but Don Chevrier gives me a headache.

However should the question turn to top flight soccer or the World Cup then I would feel quite at ease.

However, I don't believe that's true. I don't think anyone truely hates you. I know I certainly don't and agree with alot of your opinions. My problem (and I think others too) is that you simply can not accept our opinions on a lot of topics if they differ from yours. Like telling me my opinion is stupid and I shouldn't use it again. Thats not really nessessary is it? You tend to see things one way, and if you do, you refuse to see how anyone else can feel differently.

BUT, knowing what I know about the judges (which admittedly is little) i don't think they are the type of guys to judge you differently. IMO you will get a very fair chance at this. However, I am afraid if you lose you will not be able to accept defeat but rather quickly blame their "hating of you" as the reason for the decision. I think you have just set that excuse up. I hope i'm wrong.

This is the rant though,and I know plenty of my opinions have been called "retarded",but it comes with the territory.I don't feel any ill-will towards that person because we are here to argue,trash-talk,and discuss.So,in general,I like Ishkurs style and like you said Jays,agree with him more often then not.
However,that one post of yours Ishkur refered to,.....you really shouldn't use that again
