well if i had to vote...which i don't but i'll give my opinion anyway...i'd say ishkur won the 1st article round with better facts to support his argument...and the rebuttal was a tie...again, i dont' feel the personal feelings of a player makes the argument...so saying jagr is a pussy isn't the end all to the article...some of us don't think he's a pussy(ok just me)

See, i could never judge these things. I would be horrible because I would have too much of an opinion on the topic. Like in this case, there is NO WAY (IMO) that Jagirl is a better overall player than Peter Forsberg. Ask yourselves this... if you could pick one of these guys to be on your team, would you really pick Jagr over Peter?

Thats why I said, "I couldn't judge these things". I can't see giving the win to someone who I think is completely wrong. Thats why we have the great judges that we do... they can pick a winner without bias.

how is his argument stronger? Everything he bases his argument off of is scoring statistics, and Jagr has played in about 500 more games than Forsberg. The two score at the same rate, but Forsberg is a much more complete player. Look at the +/-, how is that even possible????

Because,I don't think there was very much info in your article to convince
me that Forsberg is the greatest player.Ishkur gave the info needed to make
that case with Jagr.The rebuttals were much closer though.

exactly what rusty said..plus forsberg had a strong line in colorado which led to more goals...meaning more pluses....maybe if he played the exact number of games jagr played, his +/- would be alot lower..or higher....but with 500 more games played and being only 7 points behind...i think that argument goes in favor of jagr

Okay, let me get this straight, Mark.

Your main contention with Jagr is that he's a pussy..........and your pick for greatest non-North American is fucking FORSBERG?!?!?!?

If Jagr's a pussy, Forsberg is the god damn mayor of Pussytown. There is a bronze statue of one of his patented dives in Pussytown in the town pussysquare where all the pussies can pussyworship in their own little pussyway. At best, Jagr might be a tourist there. After all, they are all Europussians. But you can't call the last four years Forsberg's best, when he fucking TOOK AN ENTIRE YEAR OFF. And barely played another. And last year didn't count. So out of five years, Forsberg played exactly 2.5 full seasons. A 50% attendance record will get any kid kicked out of school, even if he is the smartest one there. You can't judge a player's value on what he COULD HAVE done...or SHOULD HAVE...or WOULD HAVE. I said before: don't judge on woulda/coulda/shoulda/. Judge on the here and now. What he HAS done, not what he might have. Mark's argument is purely a speculation game on Forsberg. He wishes Forsberg did more. Yeah, and if wishes were testicles, the queen would be king.

Watch: After this year Forsberg will get disgruntled and upset again, and will fag his way back to Modo like he usually does. At least Jagr toughs it out, even if he doesn't play his best, even if he's on a sorry sack of shit of a team, even if he's hurt. Forsberg was given by the grace of god one o
