I never put words in anyones mouth... you quoted him and said you agreed. Its all right there in print. If you think he won, thats fine! I didn't read all of their articles so i don't have an opinion on who won or not. Nor do i really care who won. I guess i'm taking it personal for the judges, and maybe i should stay out of it. But he called the judges biased against him... i guess thats a flaw of mine... i stick up for people who get slammed for nothing.

OK,fair enough.I guess it was just a general agreement then.
I think the judges expect to hear these type of rants. Just like an official
or ref is going to get bashed by one team or the other. It's just the nature of the business. I don't think anything goes beyond the actual call or decision to
base a dislike or mistrust of the actual person(s) involved.

If you bother to use ye olde trusty search button, you'll see that I actually did predict it would happen. I'm not using hindsight to make shit up.

No, it's ass because it's wrong, I proved them wrong, the judges pretended to be impartial even though they weren't and I called them out on it.

Don't blame me for calling a spade a spade. If you don't want to be pegged as a gutless loser, then stop being a gutless loser.

They're not getting slammed for nothing, they're getting slammed because they fucked up. Mistakes have repercussions.

I don't criticize needlessly.

I don't need to use the search button... i remember clearly that you had made an excuse up well before the judging so you could cover your ass.

The judging criteria is wrong because you say it is. Its all about who has a better arguement, and they clearly thought Mark had the better arguement. How am I being a "gutless loser"?? You are whining and crying about something you didn't want to do in the first place, and i'm calling you on it.

This is exactly like dealing with my kid... she doesn't get her way and throws a temper tantrum. I picture Ish stomping his feet and kicking things when he doesn't get his way.

I am with Jay on this one. True Ishkur did make up a ready made excuse prior to the start of this contest and now he once more sounds like a whiner like he did in the Memo thread. I think Jay spotted this one perfectly, oh and I do think Jagr is better than Forsberg but as Jay pointed out it is all about the quality of arguement in this contest.

It just became obvious that you are slightly retarded.

1st, the topic was "who is the best EVER"... what does this year have to do with ever? Your pic is worthless in the arguement.

2nd, its not all about who you pick, its also about how good your arguement for that person is.

3rd, if you use the search button... you will see that I said before that Jagr is the MVP of this year.

Oh, I already proved beyond a reasonable doubt that jagr was the best ever, and my argument was based on what I would call a hockey equivalent of basemetrics, raw data, and actual accomplishments that occurred in real life. Not imaginary possibilities or bullshit hypotheticals like if he grew wings and pucks flew out of his butthole. If you'd like, I'll post screenshots of all the years he won scoring titles in that too.

So Jagr was already the best ever. This year is just pure gravy. Forsberg has long since fallen from the pantheon of elite hockey players (he really hasn't done anything since 2001, and never will again).....Jagr's just cruising along, and shows no signs of slowing down....

I hate Jagr, but I thought Ishkur had the better quality arguement. Just curious, what was it about the Forsberg arguement that conviced you it was better?

I am not saying I thought either arguement was better, I am just saying that judges thought the Forsberg arguement was better and all that has occured since then is nothing but a bunch of tedious crying.
