Well now I feel I can tell you why I picked them. I was going to go with Brazil 1970. But, then I thought about it and said no. I then thought about picking France 1998 and once more thought no. I needed to honor one of my most favorite players when I was younger that being Franz Beckenbauer. In many ways the thoughts you posted about that Argentine guy (I hesistate to type its name) are very similar to the way I feel about Der Kaiser.

i can't argue that beckenbauer isn't a great player.....its like saying michael jordan wasn't good in basketball...i really thought i'd have to argue against 1970 brazil and pele..which would be near impossible....u totally threw me off with west germany....u think they'll give me another soccer question in round 2 against jay???

Hey, I may not even have won my first round match... however, apparently it is a big mystery. But yes, PLEASE give us a soccer question, you will see the biggest KO in P/CP history.

no we should do a sport neither of us know about...not hockey, boxing, soccer...i kinda want ping pong so i can talk about jing mae sao from china....that guy is king of ping pong

Oh you are so full of it. Jing mae sao's gut hangs over the table so that even if his paddle misses the ball,the opponents ball hits his gut and still makes it back over the net. Huo Yao Feng is the real king of ping pong.
