I bet there isn't a day that goes by without the Colts kicking themselves for passing on Leaf and taking Peyton first. Stoopid Colts.

Its fun to look back at older drafts and see "what could have been". Like the Bears drafting Curtis Enis with the #5 pick, and Patriots taking RB Robert Edwards (?) with the #18 pick.... and then Ahman Green gets drafted in the 3rd round.

It is interesting and list goes on, Tom Brady in the 6th, god we could go on forever its amazing the amount would be talent that went high and flopped and then on the flip side the amount of talent taken late that have become studs. Can you imagine if Bush became a Leaf? WOW but I guess that is like saying I just bought a house on Mars. q

Really? That blows. For the life of me I can't remember that dude at all.

I just looked it up and you are right, he had a really good rookie year. 1115 yards, 9tds rushing and 331 yards and 3 td's receiving. wow. I guess he tried to make a comeback in '02 with the Dolphins that didn't go so well.

I am still waiting on Mark's article.

//taps toe.

Hopefully the rebuttal round can start on Tuesday, and we can judge this by the end of the week. The holiday situation has really messed up the flow of this round.

Just know I have not dropped the ball, and want to keep it GOING.

If my memory serves me correctly, he blew his knee up playing flag football in the sand during the ProBowl....severed an artery I think. He almost lost his leg.

Didn't the NFL also forbid that type of exhibition....sand football...after his injury?

Being a Charger fan....I was actually excited when they ended up with Leaf. I watched both him and Manning in college, and I felt Manning had happy feet and wouldn't do too well in the NFL. I thought Leaf was bigger and more durable with a better arm. Also, Leaf was public with his desire to play for the Chargers.

Little did I know the mental difference in the two QBs...guess that's why I'm stuck here at the Rant and not in a NFL GMs office....
