Okay...Smiling Goat as agreed to be a judge...so I'll back out of that.

Judges are now:

1. ssig
2. Beers
3. Goat

We can always move the start date since it might conflict with the holiday. How 'bout we set that as the deadline to decide if people want to participate. By that date, we'll just go with what we have and see how it goes.

But wait, KP... we are in desperate need of people for this, why would you back out? We need you as a judge, you have already proven you are good at it. Why not just tell people there are openings for writers? I'd hate to see you not judge.

Whats the line in 'A Few Good Men'?

I can see if I can drum up some of my friends, but it may be fishing with just a worm and no pole.

Sad, same amount of writers as judges. However, i think we have GREAT judges (gotta start the brown nosing now). Yeah KP, whatever you want to do with the seeding is fine with me. Bump for Joe... as you can see, we are still well short. Everyone's too scared to actually write... they'd rather judge.

Thats cool, ask him when you can. We obviously have time... its not like people are lining up to jump in.

Well, since nobody else has truly started it...

I'm going to win. Mainly because you all suck.

Also, I would like *SEE THE* to rules so I don't lose in the first round on a technicality, because I'd didnt use a semi-colon or I was improperly using MLA style instead of the basic Chicago. I really wish I was making any of that up but all of those things exist and I know about them.

Oh, and are there word count limits? I only ask, because the right mind frame, the right question, the board may recieve a 50,000 word essay on Why the DH rule is the worst rule in sports, thats just an example, not what I really think.

OR how about this, The first Round is Side A-Side B with the judges picking who gets which side, THEN in the Later Rounds you are asked open ended questions. Just a thought.

Also what are we playing for? Cuz I'll do it for bragging rights, I really have no shame at all, nor a life so who ever is goin against me better bring their A+ game cuz I will research and write and rewrite about 6 times before I submit anything.

I really need to leave my house some day

Ah, yeah i can fully understand that. I pretty much avoid all human contact after playoff losses. But when you get a chance, please forward the rules over to me. That will save me a lot of time typing them out and get rid of the potential of screwing them up. Yeah, tell Missy we'd love to have her.
