The Mavs did show a lot of heart in winning last night. I'm sure the lack of a bench hurts the Suns, but Dallas was simply more aggressive last night. They did a great job on Amare! If Dampier shows up the Mavs will win, no question in my mind. If Damp doesn't show, the Suns win easily.

The losing coach of each game has made excellent adjustments for the next game. D'Antoni needs to make the proper adjustments to get Amare the ball even when he's double and triple teamed; and, Amare needs to get the ball to the open man and that guy needs to hit the open shot. If that happens, Phoenix wins. If Dallas continues to collapse on Amare and get him in to some foul trouble AND Dampier continues to play aggressive defense without getting in to major foul trouble AND the Mavs hit their open shots, Dallas will win. As everyone knows, the home team gets the borderline foul calls. With the next game in Phoenix, I expect the Suns to get to the foul line often. Dallas needs to counter by Stack, Howard and Daniels all driving the lane on a consistent basis to try to draw fouls on Amare.

This is gonna be a great game on Wednesday!
