I haven't said a thing about the quality of the degree. The only thing I know about university of Phoenix degrees is they are typically done online for those not living in Phoenix. My point was an educated person wouldn't assume they could talk business with Donald Trump on Donald Trump's level simply because they obtained a piece of paper....

everyone who makes a comment about shaq and his free throws is really making a stab about him cause its well known he has a problem....so does ben wallace...why did noone bring him up?? its a stab at shaq and he has no right to do that as an incoming rookie w/no league or college experience..the only reason he's being called baby shaq is because of his size...he's was overweight and tall....his game doesn't resemble shaq's at all

No one brought Ben up because no one was comparing Bynum to Ben. I still don't think that it was a stab at Shaquille because it was a stated fact. I guess my bigger problem is 'the juvenile delinquent' statement. It's not like Bynum came out and said Shaquille is some over the hill bum or something......

I think you're missing my point, and I also think you have some personal feelings toward his high school that are unresolved .

The point is Bynum made statements strictly within boundaries of the game of basketball...Shaquille is the one who stepped outside of basketball with personal attacks.....

I'm not a jordan fan so I hate to bring him up. But if say Lebron said I'm like Jordan but I'll win titles quicker. It's talking trash but it's still within the boundaries of the game.

No he didn't go to any real life class room and or school and and the degree or degrees were actually obtained from the U. of Phoenix online as was repoted shortly after his idiotic remarks about Bynum.

The reason I no longer have not even an ounce of respect for Shaq,has nothing to do with him no longer playing with the Lakers.My dislike and lack of respect for him stems from the fact in all the years that he was with the Lakers and I as well as all true Laker fans paid our money to buy tickets which helped pay his salary,he turns around after his trade to Miami and makes the statement that all LA people are fake and Miami people are real.That makes him a hipocrit of the lowest magnitude,because if that is how he really felt,why didn't he make those comments while he was here drawing his big pay checks at our expense. In my eyes and in those of many other Laker fans,he reduced himself to nothing more than a bitter,out of shape,no game but a dunk,no free throw shooting,angry fat man that he longer is playing in LA and because the Laker organization chose Kobe over him.

As far as his comparison to Kareem,Hakeem,Wilt,Russell or any of the other past great NBA centers is unrealistic merely based on the fact that those centers had other aspects to their game than just being big,powerful and most effective offensive weapon being nothing more than a dunk.

First of all, me, the die hard hockey fan that would jump into a swimming pool filled with double edged razor blades to avoid basketball, is posting in a basketball thread.

Second, Shaq. He is not much more than and giant stack of shit. Sure, he's got talent, he can play some ball, but he is shit. His juvenile delinquent quote was almost as stupid as something Jeremy Roenick might say. I don't care how many degrees he has, or where or how he got them. He is trying to start a pissing contest with a KID. Boy, that is courageous. Maybe when he goes to the park he kicks little girls off of the swingset to feel like a real man.

As far as this Bynum kid is concerned, he just got thrown into the spotlight and didn't know what to do, IMO. When the interviewer compared him to Shaq, he should have said, again, IMO, "I don't know about that guy, but I am the ONLY Bynum". That, to me, would have been more credible.

Bynum might be awesome. I don't know. I might watch him, I might not. As far as Shaq is concerned, I'd rather watch Dr. J or Larry Bird. They actually worked when they played.
