But it's the truth. Only in one game (game 5) did the Celtics outplay the Pistons when the Pistons were playing their best. In the other two games where the Pistons were playing their best (games 2 and 4) they were better then the Celtics. If you think it is just sour grapes then that's fine but I know what I saw and I know that I'm right. But what's done is done and the Celtics, not the Pistons, have the honor of getting smoked by the Lakers.

What I don't get is how you can be a Sixers fan and root for the Celtics. That is beyond me.

I always root for the east champ against the west in the NBA no matter who they are. Same goes for the NHL. I always root AL against the NL.
I even rooted for the Colts when they were in the big game. It is a part of being an arrogant condescending, ignorant, prejudice, racist, uneducated Boston bastard.

I think it's awesome to "always" think a certain way before you even know who the participants are. That's a really great way to be and a wonderful way to decide something. It’s also amazingly intelligent. Knee-jerk schmee-jerk right? Yay! I bet those party line ballots are a breeze to fill out.

EDIT: The MLB All-Star game is apparently going to experience the joys of blind allegiance and not thinking.

As far as rooting for the C's, I am not rooting for anyone, not a huge BBall fan and becuase of that my allegiance is only to the Sixers, the rest of the teams I can pick and choose to like or root for or not, either way I hate Detroit more than any other team in the league...so this was fun to watch them get BEAT by the better team
