agreed...coming off the last few years, hopes were pretty high that they could be a top 25 team..despite the loss to fresno, the thought remained as they had there chances...but after the north carolina debacle followed by a loss to navy..not many of us are thrilled about the prospects of this season...games away vs. wvu, cincy and south florida..so yea this is a big one and a win really boosts our confidence and gives us an early advantage toward the big east title

bump:
so we started 1-5 and now won 5 straight and are bowl eligible...give the kids lots of credit for not giving up..a win on december 4th against louisville and at worst will finish 4th in the big east with a 5-2 record...not bad...another bowl game is in sight...
