phew..i forgot what it was like to have a win in any sports...great second half adjustment on defense last nite...grothe killed them in the first half..and despite rutgers desperately trying to give away the game last nite they held on...big win...it opens up the big east now as everyone has a loss
a couple of other things... 1. marginal holding call on 3rd down against rutgers late in the game 2. marginal offensive pass interference on usf at the end...i think no flags on either play..but the second one might not of happened cause rutgers got the first down on the holding call 3. i don't care what anyone says...south florida is a good friggin team and deserved to be ranked that high..they are just a few guys away on offense to really being a great team... 4. they were saying they should drop to 15 or so in the polls..i think thats to far to fall..they lost to a good team..on the road by 3..if lsu and usc only drop 8 or so spots, why does south florida drop around 15?? finally revenge game #2 next week at home against west vriginia..revenge game #1 didn't work out so well..they beat wv and the only obstacle to a 1 loss big east season is louisville in kentucky |

Congrats to Rutgers. I would have to admit that it would have been interesting to see USF in the national championship game.

Yeah really.Didn't see that one coming.
Also,USF loses again to team that never beat a ranked opponent before.Although nice to see UConn getting better and better. |
