Wait, (really, not trying to be a smart ass)... good basketball players are really thinking about going to Rutgers? Doesn't their team stink?

yes they do suck BUT they hired fred hill a few years ago and he's a master recruiter...remember when villanova was nasty like 3 or 4 years ago...he recruited all those guy...
so this past year they added cory chandler, who was a 4 star recruit and will be a sophomore next year this year they added 1. mike rosario, 4 star sg and a mcdonald's all american... 2. patrick jackson, 3 star sg 3. christian morris, 3 star pf who's 6'9 270 lbs! 2009 they already have probably the best class ever in the program's history coming in... 1. greg echinque, a 5 star center prospect is signed..he potentially could play in 08..its complicated..he used up his h.s. eligibility somehow and its up in the air if he'll go to prep school for a year or go to rutgers 2. dane miller, a 4 star swingman is signed 3. austin johnson, a 3 star swingman is signed 4. jonathan mitchell, a 4 star power forward transferrring from florida |

while its not 5 star recruits across the board..alot of top guys around here are starting to look at our program..just the fact that ebanks had us in the top 3 or 4 is big considering we're the bottom feeder of the big east

Wow... no that is impressive, thats how you start to build a program. No team stinks and suddenly gets all 5 star recruits. It happens as your team shows they are improving and can compete. Gonzaga did it.... they were just a small shit school that got a couple of good guys and it got better from there.
It will be weird to have Rutgers football and basketball being good at the same time. Good luck. |

i agree....one guy on my rutgers site who's real informative..i don't know how he knows most of his stuff unless he works in the athletic dep't there was saying get your season tickets now for basketball before they get a waiting list like they have in football...which is over 11k..i'm one of them

i'm not fibbing when i tell you this but i saw an asian guy on the path train who had one of those headbands that signals he's in the crypts..but instead of it over his his he had it covering his mouth like he was a bankrobber in the 1800s...i kept my eye on him the whole ride...i was just waiting for him to pull out a gun..he had a giant duffle bag with him...wherever he was going to kill people..he musta chickened out

Oh man... not to sound like a pussy, but i'd be freaked out. When you are on a train, where the hell are you going to go? I guess you have to try to duck behind the fattest guy on the train and hope he runs out of bullets. That would be a shitty feeling.

the second he pulled a gun i would've attacked him...at least that was what i was thinking cause there really is nowhere to go so its better to go out trying to fight i guess..but in reality the second he pulls the gun i start throwing women in front of me and throw kids at him to distract him..
