Well Jay,no suprise here,but your #1 seed lady heels beat my #2 seed lady Vols with a smothering first half defense.The Vols pulled to within 6 a couple of times in the second half but just couldn't make up that first half defecit.

Yeah i didn't really watch it, but i was changing to it during Idol commercials. Everytime i looked UNC still had a pretty good sized lead. I guess we know which conference is the best in Womens BB huh?

I think an LSU-Florida final is very possible; I also think Florida is playing the best basketball in the country right now and will win it.
The irony in all this is that the SEC was supposed to be "down" this year.

True. Pearl and the Vols deserve props for their whole season.
But, I've got a question for everybody; when was the last time the NIT champ (South Carolina) won 2 regular season games against the NCAA champ (Florida), as happened this year?

P.S.- You're right about Tennessee being a long state. Did you know that Nashville is closer to both St Louis, MO and Indianapolis,IN than Knoxville,TN is to Memphis,TN?

The Gators must have some kind of secret on/off switch to be able to look
so barely top 20 and then dominate at the end of the season.
