i live in the suburbs of philly... and am fans of all the philly teams... (so im pretty sure that makes me a masocist)
yes WIP 610... is just not really entertaining to listen to...

theres a new one 950 WPEN... i dont get it too well though so havent tried it but im sure its not that great either

Ah, i believe 97.5 is all "oldies" now. I don't listen to that much (not enough rap... you know how it is).

K, I don't think I get 950 (i'm in the allentown area). For sports talk, the only thing i have to listen too is ESPN radio. But thats bad too except for Mike & Mike... i love that show.

just pony up the bucks and get satellite...they both have sports shows and games...xm has nhl....2 espn stations...a sporting news station a few more i forget off the top of my head...it also has acc and pac 10 basketball games...plus mlb

ive never understood the satellite radio getting sports things... like major league baseball or nfl or whatever...

i mean, honestly what are the odds that ill be so far away from a TV or radio that would have the phillies or eagles on the game, that ill go to my xm radio and listen to that...

it just doesnt make any sense to me, like your not going to just listen to the radio in LA listenin to the sixers vs heat besides id rather watch a game of 2 useless teams then LISTEN to a sixer game...

well what if you live in pa and you like the raiders and you can listen to the game on the radio instead of just seeing highlights later in the day....or if you travel for your job and the game you like is available in the car instead of listening to tulsa vs. north texas cause thats the only game that comes in on regular radio

Interestingly put ssigs, I must admit about the only time I really wished I had satellite radio was when I was travelling to Columbus for the USA-Mexico match. Once I got about 20 minutes into Ohio the only thing sport related on the radio was the Ohio State game. I considered bashing my head onto the dashboard to make it go away but reconsidered as that may not have been safe for other motorists.

how many teams does everyone see from the big east/conference USA conference?

and is there any way that would split the conference into 2 divisions, to try to get

i got 9
'nova, uconn, WVA (my super obvious pick to win it all and also for the BCS in football, first ever time the same school wins the BCS and March Madness in a calendar year apart) pitt, g-town, seton hall, marquette, cincy, syracuse...

of course cincy and syracuse are out in the first round... and marquette and seton hall is gone by round 2

and... if UCONN is ranked higher then 'nova im losing all faith in the arbitrary ranking system of college sports

well Karasz I know fuck all about college basketball, that being said, I just hope that Pitt gets bounced early from the tourney. That way the drunks in Oakland won't tear things up too bad and not light too many fires.

Why would you give up on the college ranking system in basketball, I believe it is fair. Does seeding really matter in college hoops anyway because of the tourney? I mean the best teams wins anyway, or at least the one with the most hunger. It's a fair system, A LOT better than the BCS for christ sake

well if uconn is ranked higher then nova it wouldnt be any different then the BCS cuz, nova beat uconn and you shouldnt be ranked lower then the team you beat especially if you have just as good or BETTER record then them.

you are correct with the top 25 dont really matter talk cuz it only matters in march if your cutting down the net or not
