Well, no top 25 teams were in action last night but there was still some good ball. The ACC/Big 10 challenge started last night with Wake Forest beating Iowa 56-47, but it didn't even seem that close to me. Wake looked great and should be ranked soon.

There are 7 top 25 teams in action tonight but probably the biggest game will be #20 Wisconsin at #7 Duke on ESPN as part of the ACC/Big 10 Challenge. The other ACC/Big 10 Challenge games on tonight are Georgia Tech at #10 Indiana and Purdue at #18 Clemson, both of which should be interesting games.

I'm a big ACC basketball fan so i always like watching the Big10/ACC challenge. Because other than this stuff, the early part of the season blows for the most part. Good teams playing bad teams to pad their records and get ready for conference play.

That Curry dude from Davidson is a stud, he should be fun to watch live. F Duke though.

haha whourdaddy your getting ripped off thank god Nebraska isn't a great basketball school. I hope Doc Sadler can bring them to finish around 6th consistently pretty soon but student tickets for basketball games are 30$ w/ a 5$ processing fee you get 19 games. I'll see 20 Husker games for sure this year and will have paid a total of 60$ because I went to the Nebraska Creighton game and that cost 2/3 of what my student tickets cost haha.

Tuesday night saw #7 Duke totally outclass #20 Wisconsin, Eric Gordon lead #15 Indiana to a hard fought win against Ga Tech, and #18 Clemson edge Purdue.

Last night had some pretty interesting games too. There were no upsets with all the top 25 teams that played winning against unranked opponents. The marquee matchup of those games was #1 UNC at Ohio State and despite the best efforts of Jon Diebler, who hit one of the most ridiculous 3’s I have seen in a while en route to scoring 19. The only matchup of two top 25 teams saw #10 Michigan State beating #24 NC State pretty handily.

Maybe the two most exciting games of the night were games that had no ranked teams; Illinois vs. Maryland and Mizzou vs. Arkansas. Maryland/IL went down to the wire after a tense first half. Mizzou/Ark was a really faced paced and high scoring game, which is always fun to watch.

Three top #25 teams play tonight with #19 Gonzaga visiting St. Joseph’s, Oklahoma visiting #22 USC, and #17 Oregon going to #25 K-State, which should be a really fun game.

Looks like St. Joseph's gave #19 Gonzaga all they could handle, Davon Jefferson showed that there was more to #22 USC than OJ Mayo by scoring 23 pts in the win over OU, and despite 24 pts and 12 boards from Mike Beasley, #25 K-State lost a tough one to #17 Oregon in OT.

The biggest games of the weekend are #1 UNC going to #22 Kentucky on Saturday, #4 KU at #18 USC on Sunday, and #16 Texas at #2 UCLA also on Sunday. Hopefully we'll get some good basketball to go along with Mizzou's victory over Oklahoma!

Big weekend, what with Davidson making #7 Duke sweat, #1 UNC bringing Kentucky down to reality, Chalmers putting #4 KU past #22 USC, and
