HnC - The Huskers are losing for sure on 01/30 and on 02/13. Book it!

I called this upset and it happened, #18 Gonzaga lost to Oklahoma last night. Of course, that wasn't the only upset as #11 Pittsburgh beat #6 Duke in one of the most exciting games of the year, handing Duke it's first loss of the season. The other teams in the Top 25 that played yesterday won easily.

Three games in the top 25 tonight but none that will really excite anyone.

Saturday night though St. Louis hosts the annual Braggin' Rights game between Mizzou and Illinois. Mizzou hasn't won this game since 1999 but they have a good shot to do so this year. Anyway, here is some background on the game:

This game is important for Mizzou

Is it a rivalry?

This game will be on ESPN 2.

i didn't see the rutgers/nebraska game(wasn't on tv) so i didn't get a chance to see if they are for real or not..then again playing us won't tell you that..i wish them luck cause they aren't beating kansas either time

We will see about that and Andy I don't think we lose to Mizzou at home, I mean we won 6 big XII games last year and swept you guys, and I expect to win more than 6 this year so those 2 under the belt this year will just help us out! haha

Yeah but the Tigers are much better this year than last. We play a much more up tempo style and average over 80 points per game.

I know, the tigers are better than they were last year, but the huskers are as well. Don't tell oregon about averaging over 80ppg though. Nebraska held Oregon to 74 points in regulation when they had never scored less than 75 in 40 minutes this year. oregon scored 5 more points in ot to finish with 79 points, and they are averaging 88.9 ppg. But i think Nebraska and Missouri will split, winning their home games, but we'll have to wait and see!

Saturday was pretty crazy with a TON of top 25 upsets!

First we had Wisconsin defeat #9 Texas on the road with a last second three.
Then we had Oklahoma defeat West Virginia alos on the road in DOUBLE OT! This was the game of the day.
Next we had Dayton defeat #6 Pitt by 25 points!
Finally we saw Boise State upend #20 BYU by three. Pretty crazy day huh?

Oh and in a game that only I cared about, SLU beat IUPUI at home.

Sunday was much less hectic as the only Top 25 team that played was UNC and they beat a pretty decent Valpo squad by 32.

in the Sunday game that only I cared about Mizzou lost to Mississippi State.

lol, G-town vs. Fordum. Ouch.

UNC is going to be tough to beat with Lawson, Ellington, and Hansborough all healthy. Just nasty.
