Here's my money team:
QB: Bulger, Brees RB: JJones,RJohnson,PotHead Williams WR: CJohnson, MClayton(TB), Houshmandzadeh, BEdwards, RSmith, MJenkins, MWilliams, TWilliamson TE: DClark K: Akers D: Eagles, Bengals I'll have to use waivers for a backup TE & K but felt it was more important to hope for a catch a WR. It is a keeper league so youth is important. |

Ya I could of gotten martin or anderson as a RB but I took holt instead. I may do well as long as 2 of them backs catch on. I`m hoping drounghs or davis along with jordan.I had to grab a good QB to back up collins or my season could be over on thursday.

I like the team goat...not much RB depth though. I would reconsider Troy Williamson up there in MN or at least keep an eye on him. Burelson, Williamson, T. Taylor, K. Robinson, M. Robinson...it's getting a little crowded.
I am keeping my eye on or picking up a couple of WR's that are going under the radar especially for bigger leagues. Reggie Williams WR - Jacksonville Tyrone Calico WR - Tennesee Michael Jenkins WR- Atlanta Jerome Mathis WR - Houston Samie Parker WR - Kansas City

I actually just dropped Jenkins to grab Willie Parker in Pitt. They announced he'd be starting so i'll take a flyer on him. AT least he could be a good fill-in for the next couple weeks. I like Jenkins but i just don't see how he'll do any better than Price did. ATlanta is all run and Def. Vick will never be a good passer. I am going to keep Williamson for now, for some reason i can't cut him. I know he has a boatload of competition but none of it has his youth and upside.

i drafted wiliamson too in my league...before they got koren robinson of course...he's got lots of speed and could be a deep threat...i don't know now w/all the receivers but he's still one to watch

No doubt Williamson is one to watch and I have no doubt he will be a great NFL receiver but too many weapons can hurt a guy fantasy wise. Just about as bad as Detroit.

Yeah, do you think Mike Willaims will get any play? I think he is the best bet for red-zone scoring for Detroit.

I also keep forgetting why i drafted Cincy's defense/special teams. I know they are just a backup but Washington is still out there and they were the best in the east. We score D/ST by turnovers, td's and points allowed.

Mike Williams will see time there but there are too many weapons IMO to make anyone of the receivers other than Roy Williams a stand out fantasy player. Between M. Williams, R. Williams, Rogers, and Pollard thats way to many weapons for lil Joey to deal with. God a top 5 QB in this league would drop a nut to have that corp lined up on the field.
As for Cincy's D...they are ranked pretty high because they scored a lot of fantasy points last year. They gave up a lot of points typically but had a lot of turnovers and td's and that stuff. If it is your backup D you can play the matchup game and see how they and the other D's pan out during the first few weeks.

So how is everyone looking?
I won my first game and had second most pionts ,10 behind leader. Still I need a solid #2 RB I may be able to swing Hasslebeck and steven Davis for Favre and Edge. |
