Are you kidding me?? I'm not sure why i'm suprised, but i am...

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- A federal judge placed tighter restrictions on Michael Vick on Wednesday after he tested positive for marijuana.

Because of the result, U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson placed special conditions on Vick's release, including restricting him to his home between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. and ordering him to submit to random drug testing.

The urine sample was submitted Sept. 13, according to a document by a federal probation officer that was filed in U.S. District Court on Wednesday.

I haven't heard anything about 40 years...all I keep hearing is he is going to see 12 - 18 months and they are looking to have that include the new indictment as well.

HA that makes me laugh though that he tested positive for pot. What a loser dude can't stay out of trouble when he is already facing jail time and ruining his career. I really believe his I am so sorry for my actions I really need to grow up yada yada ya press conference.

Its marijuana. Seriously though, he could have been doing worse things.

They'll probably take off the time spent between 10 and 6 off his sentence.

Ha ha he defaulted on a 2.5 million dollar loan recently also. What a dumbass.

While I agree with you... it does say something about his judgement and him as a person. He is on trial facing jail time and he continues to do illegal things?? No matter how big or small, he's still breaking the law while on trial.

He's still basically saying he thinks he can do whatever he wants.

I read that also, had something to do with the max penalty for killing one dog would be 5 years, since he admitted to killing 8 dogs the new indictment could ask for a 40 year sentence.

On Tuesday, Vick was indicted on state charges of beating or killing or causing dogs to fight other dogs and engaging in or promoting dogfighting. Each felony is punishable by up to five years in prison. His arraignment on that is set for Oct. 3.

Agree with Jay...pot doesn't seem like a huge deal but the simple fact that he is already in trouble with the law and said he is going to be a changed man and found god and all that ballywho he should stop doing illegal things all together. What an idiot. May he rot in jail for many many years and never play football again.

I can't see him returning to football at all.

Who would give him the chance? Even if he spends one year in jail that is one year in which he has lost shape and has lost his "edge"
