The critera i used was:

Has not logged in for: 365 days
has a post count less than: 1

So common sense says that these are all users who have never posted and not logged into the rant in more than a year.

Should I make it 6 months.

I dont think that we should delete anyone that has at least posted, not yet anyway

The one year and less than one post certainly makes sense. ^months may make sense also. If they try to log on and are denied they can then re-register if they care)

How many people log onto to the site on a regular basis but never post?

Some do becuase you it was required at one time to be a member to look at the large pictures of the rant girls. I used that at one time to increase member count > hoping that they would get into the forums and post

Another idea that did not work!

If they are deleted and try and come back, they would need to register again. Which an idiot can do, but there are a lot of non-idiots out there

As I troll some of the other sites(and ocassionaly post) I will say that the ratio of idiots seems to trend toward the idiot side.

I think that increasing the posts after business hours is really key here.

I really don't go on much at night, and I doubt that will change, I often pop in but thats it.

Can you add more new's feeds in addition to the ESPN feeds? Possibly some that are more off the beaten path or something that will bring content and spark discussions. I aslo think that a non-sports news feed in its own section may bring content and spark other discussions.

The group of posters here now aren't huge thread starters so the news stories that do come in often spark most of the posts. In some cases the more the merrier but non-duplicates are also good but that may not be feasible. Just some suggestions to keep the content rolling and fresh.

Yesterday was a good example of less posts when the subjects that were brought in were done being talked about by the people on.
